Not really no. At least not to me. They show the reaction of things when there is cause for reaction. Seeing their face all the time just seems strange and awkward and seeing their reaction to things like a guy who makes tattoos on a banana just seems completely unnecessary.

Yeah its very true. If i have a weapon in my hand and the controls are fluid its not that scary. At least not psychologically, the jump out scare moments can still frighten if done right but yeah, its definitely the ones with sluggish controls that i find the scariest.
