Yeah, I definitely feel like a lot of people/outlets (definitely the AV Club) are trying to make Yang’s approval the barometer by which celebrities are judged... at least when it comes to SNL.  Like damn, stop trying to dissect what him standing offstage means.  Definitely feels like trying to drum up artificial drama.

I feel like there are a lot of people who see Yang and project on him all their feelings and political beliefs.

Interesting use of “dharma.”

I hear in the movie Ridley’s character believes the whole time she’s a nobody born to non-descript parents, until the end when she learns her real dad is Johnny Weismuller.  

“I’m ready to admit I have a sex addiction.”

I can see it’s going to be impossible to find an honest review of this show as all the critics circle the wagon.

I took the “you’re not one of us” comment to mean his socio-economic status. These are the uber-rich after all. Lindy saw him as working class, thanked him for doing his job of getting her out as he should have, but otherwise had no time for him. The main reason I didn’t, and still don’t, see the racist angle is…

the fact that neither of us know whether or not the new album even has a single is certainly telling. 

I think its odd she didn’t really test the waters with a new single. Like, try and make a viral tiktok song or something. Instead she comes in with an entire album and tour like she’s not been kinda off people’s radars for a while now.
