Wait Esme was somewhere in this episode?

Nero: Timothy Spall

So you're saying guys like Michael Wilbon, Zach Lowe, Nate Silver, Mike Clay, Bill Barnwell, Bill Simmons, Benjamin Morris all provide no insight? I strongly disagree.

Ok well I don't buy this narrative that if you didn't play or coach a college sport then you don't provide much value as an analyst. I played college basketball and coached high school basketball and I think there are plenty of insightful analysts who did neither.

Where do you go for that?

I've always thought his show is more analytical and well thought out than most analysts on the radio, but there are dozens of journalists I like more. Which analysts do you like to listen to?

Ya I hate when he talks about Swift or Tom Hanks or athletes that way. But he doesn't do it often enough for me to dislike him. And I feel like he rarely broaches bigoted topics but I've only been listening to him for just under 2 years.

I'm just curious who all do you guys listen to then? Cuz Bill Simmons is my favorite and he go torn to shreds in that comments section too. For reference I currently listen to Cowherd, Simmons, Dan Patrick, PTI and Dan Le Betard.

Just went to the article here from a year ago when he left ESPN. I guess no need to explain if you agree with the comments there haha. I still like him, not that he's my favorite, but I didn't agree with any of the vitriol comments I was reading.

What don't you like about Cowherd?

Wow thanks so much for this. I want to print this off and save it.

Alright who do you know who writes for the show?

By the ending do you mean as the credits roll? Cuz I personally thought the riff in Any Day Now was a perfect send off for Inherent Vice.

Tether by the Chvrches would fit perfectly into Drive. I think they're helping make the soundtrack for the sequel.

While Kanye is angrily ranting, Drake is self loathing, Kendrick is philisophically pondering, Killer Mike and Vince Staples are violently protesting, there's Chance, who is just happy to be alive and wants us to be happy too.

I always thought the end of The End was just like a Coen brothers movie, so I loved it. If you're gonna call Handler a lazy writer, you have to say the same about most their movies.

Elo scores were originally used to rate chess players compared to the current level of competition. Simply the higher your Elo score, the more dominant you are to the competition of your era. So while impossible to rate two players of a different era due to cultural shifts, you can compare their Elo's to see who was

Jesus Walks!

So nobody is gonna mention Narcos?

Would've liked to see Coach Carter on here. It's not great, but it's pretty good.
