If nothing else they could have put screens around the bench he was sitting on. Hold the train for two minutes in the tunnel, put a discreet screen around the bench. Nobody would have seen the deceased, and the deceased would have had the dignity of final privacy.

They absolutely have to shut the trains down if somebody gets hit by one. It’s no different from closing the freeway after a fatality.
