And the vases and stuff in the main berth and bath. It’s all going to end on the deck in the slightest sea.

Yeah nothing is secured on that boat.  Look at the chairs in the dining room - there is no way to secure them to the dining room table.  There are no fiddles on the edge of the counters in the galley, so anything’s night on the counter in the galley will wind up on the deck in any seaway.

This just makes things worse and more embarrassing

It’s still pretty damn tacky.

And with that many bottles strewn across that countertop, how often do you think the boat is actually taken out of the marina? It would take a half hour just to stow all those bottles.

As far as yachts go, this is just meh at best. Step up your game. Show something really cool. This is the yacht equivalent of a 2002 6cyl convertible mustang, owned by Mo Rocca.

Just there to remind him of a stock Lumina.

That’s... not as tacky as I thought it would be.

Way too much faux-gold for my taste, and those pseudo-18th century furnitures look out of place on a 1980's yacht (although, to be fair, where else would they be ?), but that’s pretty tame as far as over-the-top yachts go.

Yeah, obviously they need to replace the side indicator. That’s not safe.

I was all in, until I read it’s on a salvage title. But even still, its a fair price so long as the drive-train is solid.  A narrow NP win for me.

It isn’t a great car by any stretch, but it is a good car. Also on the plus side, it gets power from that SBC which, in this application, isn’t really asked to do very much. As long as there’s fuel to run it and oil to keep the metal parts away from each other, it should continue to provide service.

Make sure to enjoy Sailing by Christopher Cross as you pass the federal government’s failed attempt at keeping us at 55 mph.

Lets hope not...from the ad,

That was my high school’s Driver’s Ed car :-).

Man, I used to LOVE driving these. Feel the slop in the wheel, feel the car list like a sailboat whenever you tried to get it to turn. In its own way, that 80's GM land yacht feel is one of the most enjoyable driving experiences around.

A little rough but not rotted. Unless you want a garage queen, that’s how old trucks should be. Rough enough to still, you know, use as a truck. These...hell any old truck....are impossible to find around here without serious rot.* There’s a 74 J-20 here that is just sitting and rotting even more. I still lust after

The Republican base shops at Walmart without apology.

I’ve said this for a while now, that if Congress had wanted to “fix” immigration they could have done it decades ago. But the issues are that 1) Americans don’t want to pick fruit in the sun for 12 hours a day, 2) American are used to cheap food and cheap manual labor at this point (think landscapers, bricklayers,

Thank you for your service to help keep us safe the way it’s really done - with sacrifice and discipline.

I separated from the military in 2014 and I got to tell you, if this was ANNNYYY other agency they’d have vets marching straight to their door when they EAS’d. A federal job that’s taking everyone who applies? They could set up shop in a Transition Assistance Program classroom and probably meet their numbers in a
