Can we have F1 like that again? Without all the fiery death, of course.

can’t find enough stars for this

Now playing

That’s pure Gilles Villeneuve.
That wheel lock up just transpires Dijon 1979:

.......so you got lucky.....

Agreed on both accounts. I could run the course in my Scout with its heavy frame and 100 horsepower. But I’d need three-four weeks.

I remember him talking about. That show was Clarkson’s baby and he obsessed over it. That is why it is amazing, you have three presenters with amazing chemistry that put their heart and souls into the show.

Florida Statute 627.7288 requires auto insurers in Florida to replace or repair their policy holders damaged windshield with zero deductible, or, in other words, for “free.”

Just as an FYI, Florida law requires insurance companies to give you one free windshield replacement a year, so don’t exactly feel badly about that mistake. Took a stone on I-4 that cracked my old MINI’s windshield.

A-fucking-men. I’ll still happily watch a well-written show/movie of any genre, even if it was filmed 40 years ago on something that couldn’t keep up with the camera in a modern flip phone. Throw all the RED cameras and drone shots and hyper saturated color you want at a garbage script, and it’s still unwatchable.

No. I’m saying I should have the option of buying a pickup with vinyl bench seats, no AC, no radio and no modern safety equipment with a basic engine for far less than $26,000. You can eliminate $1000 of the price just for loosing the infotainment system right off the bat. With ford at least, the minimum option is I

The best part about this, and I LOVE DISCO’s, is that every CL ad reads exactly the same for them. “Run’s(ran) great needs transmission/blown headgasket/doesn’t start, 70k miles, $1,500" I really want to buy one, but I just can’t do it to myself, plus I don’t think it would fit into my garage and up on the lift so

But we want our vehicles to work....consistently....

Still not worth it.

Eh, I wouldn’t say that. It was barely on par with Jeep’s I-6 of the time.

The two company’s constant attempts to one-up the other has ultimately resulted in the consumer being the big winner in the end.

I took one look at that and thought “PreRunner my ass.” It does look like they worked over the suspension decently and didn’t just slap on a lift kit and big tires. That said if I’m buying a pre runner I kinda expect it to also have the wide fiberglass fenders and a roll cage.

Have you seen ads for LC80 Land Cruisers?

Read up to this, and it became an instant CP:

Yeah but that IS literally one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. This is one of the cornerstone pet peeves of the people who are trying to raise awareness about sexual assault. It’s an incredibly tired attitude. If this woman was my sister, daughter, or acquaintance even I’d be furious.

It was almost down there for a quarter of a Sentra-y.
