Which is why we need to hesitate to say he is the greatest ever. So many great quarterbacks have been placed with disastrous organizations. I’m sure Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers, Matt Ryan etc. would have liked a chance to play for the Patriots.

It’s amazing to me how his average receiver talent always seems to be wide open. The Patriots have always known what they want and what they need. These quick white dudes may not be Julio Jones, but they fit the model of what the Patriots are trying to do.

It’s interesting to me that we talk about what Brady has done without Gronk this season when he was also out the first 4 weeks. What is more impressive, Brady going 11-1 without Gronk? Or the Pats going 3-1 with no Gronk and no Brady. If Jimmy G didn’t get injured, Brady would have taken over a 4-0 ball club.
