It seems like an awful time for a catcher to intentionally miss a ball. If the ball doesn’t hit the ump squarely then a run scores. The margin of error for a pitch completely missing the catcher yet being close enough to squarely hit an ump is too fine. They had the rest of the game to throw a “wild pitch” with no

The naming of most sports is dumb. Why do we name the game after the ball that it is played with? Soccer is one of the few that makes sense. The sport is soccer and the ball is a soccer ball. If baseball is the name of the sport shouldn’t we call the ball a“baseball ball”, or shouldn’t we just call the sport

You wasted all those words asking if he had to throw without planting. Of course he did.

Dunking just takes a high amount of athleticism but not a whole lot of specific basketball skill. hitting a home run not only requires strength, but the technique and skill that a person just picking up a bat won’t have. Just about anyone can jump with a ball, few would have a good swing the first time.

If what I heard is correct, this is a response to pretty poor sportsmanship from the opposing team. I won’t judge which is worse, but I don’t think it’s the best response to reward the other team who had didn’t show quite as bad sportsmanship.

For having a “high end” clothing brand, the Big Ballers’ uniforms look like something put together by their moms using iron on letters.

“If you’ve ever wanted to hear Stephen A. Smith”... nope.

If I had never heard of LaVar Ball, I would have actually enjoyed this interview. Unfortunately I know he’s only talking for attention.

I think it is very easy to call a place racist. If a person feels comfortable enough to yell out a racial slur in a public place without condemnation then you are in a racist city. Individual racists will always exists, but they should feel like an outcast.

The guy yelling “Bingo Bango” is the 2nd best part of this video only losing out to the voice of the announcer. I’m sure the guy in the pick up truck has done that hundreds of times catching a Busch Light.

So your joke was that white people go to baseball games in St. Louis?

I hate basketball because it’s more embarrassing to play defense and get dunked on than it is to just run out of the way and let the guy have a free basket.

Why is Michigan wearing the womens team’s uniforms?

But then that would be making the first day of school the signing day and we would be dealing with the same crap except earlier. Recruits have most of their 2nd semester to sign, but most sign on the first day to claim their spot.

I’m still trying to understand what he is trying to say by this sentence.

The problem with this argument is that people assume their employer (the NFL) doesn’t agree with them. I’m guessing that secretly the NFL hates this, but they can’t publicly criticize the protest when 75% of their workforce is black.

So he gets shit for getting dunked on, and then he gets shit again for not contesting a dunk. I hate the NBA mindset that it’s better to not play defense than get dunked on. Actually, I just hate the NBA.

They DH for the 9th best hitter and not the pitcher. I know because I was the designated fielder.
