I like when people confuse the word opinion with knowledge.

It’s tough, but give yourself hard cut-off times. Zero phone calls and emails before a certain time, and zero phone calls and emails after a certain time. Also, using a moment before and after work to meditate for 5-10 minutes can give your body and mind the routine they need to give themselves permission to “turn on”

There is so much BS and wrongness in your post, I can’t pick just one thing to highlight.

Don’t be concerned, it has absolutely no reliability at all.  Reliability free so to speak.

I think reliability concerns are left over from generations gone by. My 2009 LR3 has been rock solid with very low maintenance costs. Do some research and you will find the same. The Gen 2 Discovery had a terrible reputation, but Gen 3 and forward have been pretty solid cars. My wife’s Cayenne on the other hand has

We were looking at high trim 4Runners and realized that the Disco Sport was priced around the same amount comfortably equipped. Went and test drove one and it was really nice.

The later Defenders weren’t too bad, but nothing on even a modern van realistically. The military ones are bare bones, lots of bare metal, internal roll cages to hit your head on, ragged by squaddies and a top speed of about 70mph. Incredible off road though .

Old Defenders are on the whole reliable. However, you have to remember it is just a chassis with a drive-train and merely a platform to move things and people to places that are difficult to get to, without a suggestion of comfort.

So, you intentionally spend time out on our public roads trying to make things more dangerous for everybody else?

The first one to put JLYBEAN on their Bugatti personalized license plate wins!

Hey failing Jalopnik, stop talking about China maybe. All I ever hear, China this, China that, Cordobavirus this and that. I bet America can make virus better than China. How about Ivankavirus? That would be a classy, beautiful broad virus. That I would absolutely date. And you can tell China we’re going to protect

Obviously you haven’t seen Vettel out of the car. He’s one of the best personalities in F1.

I liked the First Season because we did not have to put up with seeing Lewis Hamilton.

Don’t overlook the fact that the test method changed in 2017.  The 2018 and 2019 C7 numbers were actually lower than the C8.  The data used in this article is trash

It’s not so much the year as it is the method. The 2018 and 2019 Corvette C7s had worse fuel economy numbers than the C8. The point is that the entire premise of your article is based on bad data. The C8 is more efficient than the outgoing model if judged by EPA published figures using the same test methods.

Do you really not see the issue here? At best it’s cherrypicking data.

Wrong year. As mentioned elsewhere in the comments, there was a correction factor that took effect in 2017.

The highway numbers didn’t decrease. He used false data according to fueleconomy.gov.

I wouldn’t be too worried about the city number - without a hybrid system, a V8 anything is going have shitty fuel economy in the city. I can’t imagine many Vette owners will be using their cars too much in stop and go traffic.

I do find the decreased highway number disappointing. My dad’s C5 convertible regularly gets
