I really wish we had downvotes on Kinja.
I really wish we had downvotes on Kinja.
I’m just ready for the new Escalade Sport Platinums to be out already. It’s the first family vehicle I could actually see us keeping for more than a couple of years. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of lease rates and incentives come out given the current state of the economy.
I can’t wait to trade our 2019 Yukon Denali in for a 2021 Escalade Platinum Sport. We were looking at Range Rovers but I’m sold on the new Escalade. Feels a bit odd to buy a $100k SUV in this economic climate, but my wife and I absolutely love it.
I love how they did all this work then left the dash essentially untouched. I want a Hellcat Redeye Wide-body so bad, but the interior is just the most bargain-basement crap I’ve ever seen. At least the seats were relatively comfy...
I’m also in Houston and wanted to go see this so bad! Just couldn’t make my schedule work, unfortunately.
Post like yours makes me really wish kinja had a downvote button.
Thanks a lot, now I have coffee coming out of my nose! As a mustang owner myself, this is beyond hysterical, well done!
Maybe you should try to remove the stick shoved up your ass and lighten up?
It boggles my mind on how journalists don’t understand this(or just ignore it for the VIEWS). Just because someone is worth 11 billion doesn’t mean they have 11 billion in CASH.
If you work hard enough in the right field you can easily afford something exotic. Sounds like you are in the wrong field of work or don’t work quite hard enough.
What do you do for a living? Any college or trade schools?
Thank you for your insight! What year is her Cayenne?
I’m anxious to see how comfortable this one is. Her current vehicle and our family vehicle is a 2019 yukon Denali. I personally think it’ll be hard to top that for comfort and reliability.
Hahah touché.
Now this is one stupid hot-take.
My wife wants one of these very badly. Why? I have no clue. I’ve always loved the old Defenders, but I’m really hesitant to buy one as a family vehicle due to reliability.
Or plenty of cash flow for something nice while still maxing out 401k/investing additional money on a monthly basis...
This is so cool on so many levels. Love it!
No, I’m assuming social security won’t even be viable by the time we are ready to retire and we will have plenty in 401k/IRAs/other investments so I’m not too concerned. I’m perfectly content with how much I’m currently paying in taxes(for all those roads/police/fire stations/gas/water/schools), I just don’t want to…
You also pay substantially higher taxes. My wife and I would be in the 33% bracket there, plus whatever provincial taxes we lived in. We are in the 24% bracket here with no state income tax. We pay a whopping 2.7% of our gross income in health insurance costs for our whole family.
