I actually prefer VGA to digital signals. I get much better darks and more even color temping across my 3 displays.

Do you have them set in Uber Mode? I've heard that they actually quite frequently run in the 90's on the reference cards in order to reduce fan noise. From multiple reliable sources:

Iceweasel. Because GNU.

I've been using a 60GB that I bought about two years ago. It was a bargain at the time for $135. All I have on it is the OS and programs that start with the computer. Move your paging file to your secondary, disable hibernation, and move your libraries default location to your secondary. Before you know it, you've

The same could be said for HDD's too. But I agree, the components have such an enormous range that any kind of averaged data obtained from it wouldn't be an accurate representation of any of them.

I didn't finish the new Tomb Raider game... is there some reason her left arm should be veiny?

10/10 would fertilize again

I have like 9 desktops running different *nix's/BSD's. A raspberryPi, a nexus running ubuntu, chrooted kali on my phone...it's the experience. I want to be able to say I've done it. There's really no good route to learning Linux for me. My school doesn't offer it either. So all I can do is read online guides, play

I'm ok with all the updates. The frequency, the size, whatever. But after getting really into computer science, I'm so mad that I can't put Linux on my PS3 any more. I know yellowdog ran like hell and didn't even have access to the GPU, but still.

You can't uninstall IE. You can remove recent updates, but for anyone that's on windows 7, the lowest you can go is IE8.

Are you shitting me? UUUUGH. I miss everything good.

Seriously. It seems like they're just trying really hard to avoid it looking like any kind of distinct race of people. But who cares any more? Make an all-ugly-all-obese-all-mexican FF, I'd play the shit out of it as long as it was good.

A large part of the difference is that Youtube doesn't stream in 60fps. You're probably watching 24fps. And even at full 1080p it's going to show some compression. If you'd like to see what ps4 games actually look like, Kotaku just posted this: http://kotaku.com/new-ps4-game-f…

Right, this looks more like a list of "Which carrier do you have and currently dislike?"

Once they get cheaper, it will be. Even by today's standards, a slow SSD would fill the bandwidth of the PS4's SATA II port. It'd be half the data load time of even the fastest spinning laptop drive. I'd give it a couple years though. Right now it's about $.70/GB and dropping like a rock.

Most likely, yes. BSD cracked the 2TB limit a long time ago.

Ok, I may have been hasty. SC2 is one of my favorite games and has enormous depth, balance, and strategy to it. It just bothered me to hear it simplified to "bigger army wins". It had nothing to do with your comparison to MOBAs.

I would think the best you'd get out of it is a short free trial. That seems like something they would have mentioned by now or a likely sale to be started after the holidays.

^never played Starcraft

Awesome, thanks! Yeah, the wording is key here. We'll just kind of have to wait to see specifics. Even if the interface is only SATA II I'd still totally put an SSD in it as long as the OS supports it. I know there's wide support for SSD's in Linux, but I've never really looked into it on BSD. Here's hoping!
