My challenge was that this happens on every kicking play. You have yet to show that it does. You've asserted that it is true...but have not shown even one other example of it happening. Are you really this obtuse? Or are you just fucking with me?

I would have caught it, see...except...waving towels, no...mickey mouse ears, no...um...beards! Their beards disgrace the game. It wasn't MY fault I gave up so many runs. Uh...um..Beards! blowing in the breeze caused a clear distraction to me and the home plate umpire. And...uh...come to think of it...yes, that's…
I actually have no idea what you're talking about. I mean, I get that people say holding happens on every play. And it's probably true. I'm saying the sentence you wrote is sort of incoherent. And doesn't prove the penalty called against the Pats Sunday happens on every kick.
If it happens on every kick. It should be really easy to find one example of it happening in another game this year.
I may be wrong...but doesn't Nike pay for all of Oregon's unis? They basically use the school as an advertisement, right?
LEARN THE GODDAMN OFFSIDES RULE BEFORE YOU CALL A GOAL OFFSIDES!
The explanation is the rule for what constitutes offsides. Learn it before you* comment on a goal to call it offsides.
Who gives a shit? If I walk into a bar and the first guy I meet is an asshole, and can't assume the other guy is likable. Same with fan bases. Great...you think Dodger fans are dickholes. Doesn't tell me anything about Cardinal fans. They could be just as obnoxious. Or maybe unbearable in a totally different way.
Adam Wainwright is routinely listed by players league-wide as being one of the worst trashtalkers in the game. How does this fact square with your aw-shucks view of the Cards?
It clearly IS the closest he got to the bag because he is in that act of catching ball while running in the direction of Pedroia.
Not a huge "neighborhood play" fan, myself. But that play last night was not even within the spirit of the neighborhood play. Drew didn't miss the bag to avoid injury. The late off-line throw pulled him from the bag. Terrible call even if you're cool with the neighborhood play.
I hope this is a form of humor I just don't understand. Otherwise, I may just have to give up on humanity.
I think the high percentage of baseball players who are rednecks doesn't hurt.
When will football writers stop gushing over the "rush defense" of teams that constantly play with huge leads? It doesn't take a football version of Bill James to figure this out.
Yeah. He KNEW everything off his bat had no chance of going out.
Me, too. More baserunners increases the Cardinals chances of losing.
reading comprehension, ftw
(I'm making fun of you, btw, not patting myself on the back.)
Schiano is an idiot. We all know that medicine has all the cures to everything, there are no gray areas, and the perfect way to treat everything from a cold to herpes to cancer to autism is very clear to anyone who knows science. Stupid football coach.
I really think the retirement tour has made us over-value a player that is the best at what he did. It's an odd thought I know. But we act like he never took more than 8 pitches to throw a perfect inning every time he came in.
