Toy Story was a great movie. Toy Story 2 was a great movie, not only because it was a great movie in its own right, but also because it was a sequel to an excellent, beloved classic that managed to be just as good if not better than the original.

Yeah, the talking dog thing is great fun but it's sort of … tonally and thematically dissonant.

Yeah, those are all great movies.

Wait, is that for real?

Yeah, but are any of them true or substantiated? By every account, Walt could be a total bastard, but there wasn't evidence of even a shred of anti-Semitism.

We had a St. Baldrick's event (or rather, have had, annually, for the past five years) at my college, where people shave their heads to raise money for pediatric cancer.

Yeah, but Spanish is Iberian. That's the less inferior breed of Hispanic. (I can only assume; I don't know exactly how early 20th century white supremacists felt about *Mediterranean* Europeans.)

It is true, unfortunately.

We need to do that more with modern engineering projects.

Yeah, that's just some edutainment for kids with the focus on "ewwww! gross!!" rather than on "the utter lack of basic human rights" and "atrocities."

There's a book with exactly that premise, and even - I could have sworn - that exact same title, although I can't seem to find it not matter how I try to google it.

"The Democrats do not have any sort of divine right to all leftist votes."

I was gonna say.

If I was going to spend $75,000 on something, I'd buy a friggin' HOUSE to live in. Somewhere to spend your marriage living IN.

"in my observation"

Yeah, depending on what ethnicity and/or religion you practice, "conservative" can mean that the consumption of alcohol is either completely haram or encouraged to the point of being almost socially mandatory.

I love how, thanks to two jokes made on Family Guy - a show which features a Jewish character who is literally nothing but an anti-Semitic caricature - accusing him of anti-Semitism, everyone now thinks that Walt Disney was a raving anti-Semite.

The Sanders campaign (and his supporters) made the mistake of assuming that having the better platform will make voters support you. It doesn't.

Weird. At least that story fell into "silly urban legend" rather than "hateful right-wing propaganda."
