This observation has been made before, but I love how God is only capable of/willing to intervene in ways that appear to be random coincidences that are easily explained by the laws of nature.

Agreed. Also, I haven't seen it a second time, so I can't say if it holds up as well on a second viewing, but that really does seem like a terribly underrated film. Just slipped right under the radar; hardly anyone even went to see it.
