@avclub-63dc9fda73e787f388b5e8932f3cd371:disqus is right about it being from an early episode,  but I'd like to think Walternate has a jar of magic plot dust in a secret drawer in his desk.

Maybe everyone is cloned in some way from Henry /Peter or something like that (I remember they sped up the pregnancy, so maybe that results in some other more sophisticated technology). Also there have been no female Observers…so that has to mean something right?

I love mush. Sometimes literally (Odo and Kira Nerys)

lol or it is really funny to imagine some war with genetically modifying food to have increasingly more flavor ala the Franchise Wars in Demolition Man.

ha lol I thought maybe the Observers wer trying to get rid of red haired people, I didn't realize it might be that. Does that mean the observers are just trying to preserve timelines that lead to them? In my mind as soon as they mentioned the baby, I couldn't help but think, "So now they are on some Cable shit?"

@NoelMurray:disqus  Very eloquent insights and well written. I am probably going to watch it again in iTunes but I thought Leland Spivey was the turtlenecked man waiting in Peter's apartment. How far in advance do you get to see episodes?

Ha! Yeah it definitely reminded me of Angel, with the ambulance coming and stuff. I remember seeing "written by David Fury" and wondering how he was going to "bleed through" into this show.

("spoiler") In this video Fox posted, they reveal that the nina at Massive Dynamic was "fake" and the one with Olivia is "real" in case you guys were wondering.

Walter: "IT'S CHERRY KOOL-AID, YOU LYING HARLOT!"
Nina: "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah"

I didn't think they failed, it felt like they went way over time and they had to start cutting plot/resolution or something. I remember listening to the BSG podcasts and Ron Moore would say on some episodes they went 20 minutes over, so I'm guessing that may have been the case here when they had so much good material

woah, sorry I got it twisted, I watched/commented in the stupor of sleepiness.

Ahhhh h h h h h h. Thanks, I've been meaning to watch the old stuff.

Was it important to know Walter's blood type?

Yes, I'm never really bothered by the "X-Files"-iness when it happens because of the structure of the characters and how they use it to do "technobabble" or their version of it. How Walter will say something and Peter kind of translates it and then usually Walter or someone else will metaphorize it (The best example

Agree! I really liked how they did the encounters with the TwoFace bus guy and the crazy diner guy.

yeah I actually watched it again (in iTunes and HD) and it looked a lot better, the shot seemed weirdly flat at first but played a bit better in HD for some reason.

yeah I know…I guess I want to know what their limits are. I don't need hard and fast video game rules, but I just need a tad more info. But I guess that's how I always feel, lol. Are they human or do they just assume human form? I don't remember all the details of the First People stuff…but I think now it is explained

It was cool to see Blu Mankuma at the end. Serendipitously I was just watching Watchers last night. APPLES! BANANA! RHINOCEROS! I want to hold your hand!

I FUCKING HOPE SO! I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS! They don't track down their blue things after 27 years? Is it 27 years to them? They don't have inter-dimensional/spatiotemporal lojack on their shit? Is September really dead? Gone rogue? Where/when is he? (I support your hypothesis, since the girl saw the future too in

This felt like the Fringe I've been waiting for! Walter has been written a little strangely lately and I'm glad he had some quality Walter moments. All the featured players were really singing together and of course Jasika brought the house down y'all. The Freak of da Week was well developed and I felt for him, and
