My 2004 Dodge Intrepid with the 2.7 is still my daily driver with around 310,000 miles with no major engine work done to it. I changed the water pump before issues appeared, but other then that just kept the engine maintained. It still runs smooth.

With all due respect, everything you are asking about has nothing to do with how the EcoBoost engine performs over time. That is a very legitimate reason why they didn’t mention the bearings, ball joints, etc.
