Good list, but no Lost Highway?

Supreme/Buckethead 2020!

Exactly.

Despite being a Drive lover and an Only God Forgives defender, I did not enjoy The Neon Demon. That and Zoolander 2 are at the bottom of my barrel for 2016. Hopefully, PTA will redeem fashion-centric films with his upcoming Daniel Day-Lewis in the 50s fashion industry movie.

Film: The first two Captain American movies, I guess?
TV: The Wire
Music: Jackson C. Frank, Moondog
Books: Almost every book I read was technically not 2016.

Eminem's "Stan" would be my choice. I remember having my mind blown by it middle school. The letter format, the twist at the end, the Dido sample - so much of it was brand new to ears and mind.

Hmmm… I need to reevaluate a few of the dimmer jewels of the Coen crown. It may be close to a decade since I have seen IC or Ladykillers. But Ladykillers I remember more laughs. Mostly JK Simmons-induced.

This is a solid list, but I am deeply wounded by a few omissions:

1) The Big Lebowski
2) Barton Fink
3) A Serious Man
4) O Brother
5) … It's so hard to decide. It's easier to have a conversation about least favorite Coen Brothers movies - but even that's still hard. Talk about killing your darlings.

The first fifteen minutes of ATHFCMFFT is magical for everyone, the rest can only be enjoyed by fans. That's not to say that I don't enjoy it all (but I'm a fan.)

In my top three Coen flicks.

I respectfully disagree about Daniel Brühl's Zemo being "about as unmemorable as the usual intergalactic conqueror or corporate scumbag making life tough for Earth’s mightiest heroes."

Once again, a great episode of Better Call Saul and a wonderful Polite Fight. While comparing the two shows in my head, I look back and see that Breaking Bad's more readily lurid subject matter gives it a built-in intrigue (almost a pulpy feel). In that light, the fact that Better Call Saul is able to make one

Explain again how sheep's bladders may be employed to prevent earthquakes.

On a lyrical level, I feel that this is definitely West's least impressive album (from painfully almost funny lyrics about bleach stains, to being a plain old troll on "Famous", his lyrical decline is, in my mind, confirmed). Then again, Kanye the producer has always overshadowed Kanye the lyricist. I like the idea

Alex DeLarge, Pre-Ludovico…or Jake Barnes from The Sun Also Rises. This decision is pending on my willingness to indulge in ultraviolence on this hypothetical night out.

The "B"'s, not the "B"'s!

Just listening to the demo "Olivia, In a Separate Bed" by Robin Pecknhold. Given it is a demo, but it could fit right into HB. I am curious to see the sound change as well. Speaking of Tillman, I wouldn't mind another Father John Misty record. Nonetheless, FF > FJM

Fleet Foxes.
