Looking at the itinerary, it’s quite possible they’d attend the swearing in ceremony tomorrow morning, and none of the Balls or galas.

Really. And including that particular MLK quote: is she trolling, or that obtuse? Hard to say.
There are so many protest events that would LOVE to have them, but the Obamas are trying to demonstrate a magnanimous attitude toward Trump, so they wouldn’t dare.
You’re being generous: in DC Trump earned a whopping 4%.
Never heard of her, but judging intensely based on that font.
So it’s cool with you she’s an asshole because she’s fit? Those are shitty values to me, but I guess it makes you feel secure and happy with yourself, so you do you.
Close enough!
Opinions are subjective, and those are ugly-ass feet in mine. All of my 300 lb lesbian friends are better looking than little miss vanilla basic over here, so when you use other people’s identity as an insult or joke, you open yourself up to people pointing out your gross square feet that don’t fit your body.
Whatever, Kristine Calamari has big flat Hobbit feet, so perhaps she shouldn’t be body shaming others?
It also leaves them with a big blank space to fill in the concert schedule, and nobody to fill it :)
Let me clarify once more for me it’s too early to align myself to a 2020 candidate. I’m not sold on anyone and four years is a long time.
Aren’t you performing precisely the type of “purity test” you’re arguing against in bringing up Sanders’ votes on other issues? Sanders was one of the people responsible for this bill, but you are using his past votes on other issues to justify fellow dems tanking this good bill, which had enough bipartisan support to…
Yes everyone is self delusional and bad except sugarpussoshea
Nobody freely offers up accountability. Constituents have to scream for it under threat of removing them from office. It’s not really up to republicans, but up to their constituents. If citizens dying as a direct result of this decision isn’t something that citizens can use to leverage their representatives, nothing…
Not generally, but there are a few supporters.
Sanders didn’t get the nomination (and is not a Democrat), so how is it a plus that she’s closer to Sanders?
So... so did most of the people grilling him, as they used the opportunity to suss out the edges of Trump’s plans by asking his cabinet appointments their commitment to specific aspects of his vague and various policy statements. That’s how it works?
Pretty much.
obviously ;)
Seems to be a running theme. But how actually widespread is this misapprehension? I feel like I’ve seen this same example many times, and just assumed this person represents a small minority of U.S. citizens... maybe not?
