Too bad the last time I ordered something from thinkgeek I had to pay 42€ of taxes. I'll wait for the cheap dealextreme knockoff.

I have an ebook reader, a combo player/cellphone, not a single dvd/else, so uh, I don't know... nothing ?

Can't he just say Go ? It kind of destroy the point of it (well, it's impressive for emails anyway).

Well I already have a Tokyoflash, and even if it's good looking, it's a pain in the ass to have to push the little button before it display the time.

@(Xeraphim): Yeah ! Maps doesn't launch itself randomly anymore. Thank to you I've re-gained some battery life !

Quick hint : If you have Tasker, you can set a simple rule to put Data Off when the screen is locked (exept on battery). This gave me like 35% more lifetime.

@Adhominem: Yeah, this work very well but you really need the same thickness than your old pads. What I really want is ceramics "dots" to stick under my mouse, nothing beat that !

@(Xeraphim): Well, it seems like Maps is still launching itself on boot, but I assume that is normal, this is a bit how android work... I'll check tomorrow morning (it's nighttime here) if it's still running.

@(Xeraphim): thanks for all the help ! I'm not yet on froyo, waiting for a custom rom. I'm on an Acer Liquid, I think it's not even out in the US (if you are there). I just got in maps and Latitude was activated, I'm pretty sure it's because of that. As long as I uncheck the latitude layer it won't launch right ? I

I had two keyboards with backlit, one with the letters laser-cutted so the light would go through it, and the other one who doesn't. Guess on which one it was more annoying than useful ?

@(Xeraphim): Well,at first I had 24/7, in case of I need to locate my stolen/lost phone, but I'm really sure it didn't really triggered maps.

Thanks Lifehacker !

well it's been better now so it's not worth it anymore for me (in europe) to buy from thinkgeek :(

@medopal: Yeah, I was expecting something awesome and scary, based on my search history, but no no no, here is a list of all my contacts.

That's it, I'm putting my father on this. He can build one in no time. Of course it will only be an imitation of what's already done, but meh, I can use some fun from a little cannon.

Wow, this is truely amazing. Now I understand why I trough my horse had mushrooms in his eyes.

This is fair, I'm sure there is a lot of hipsters in NYC that refuse to live with someone a bit geeky with an android phone.

As a MX1100 owner, if find this pretty sexy :p

Wait, you peoples believes that fries are from France, and us, French, believe they are from Belgium. I'm lost.
