I don't think I'm smart enough for this game...

Ehh, I dunno. Updating the graphics to 3D would be neat, but I feel like the gameplay would just become like NSMB (which always felt off to me).

@conchster2: Oh God, I cringe every time I hear someone make that black bar argument. "You don't see the whole picture!" I have to kindly point out that they have it exactly backwards, yet they insist that "fullscreen" is better.

I always had to bite my tongue whenever my uncle would buy fullscreen dvd instead of widescreen because "they fit the tv better and you don't have black bars."

@Purple Dave: That's actually what they did with the new "HD" re-release of the Dragon Ball Z series. They just chopped off the top and/or bottom to make it fit a 16:9 ratio. It's like the opposite of pan and scan.

There's totally a smiley face right around 10 o'clock on that thing. Upper left corner.
