I'm an uber driver that uses Waze. I had an old charger from years ago that I was still using. It was doing what you describe as well … power hungry apps are power hungry but you need an upgraded charger for your phone. I just got mine, much smaller, & even with nav charges the phone extremely quickly. They're also $9

I thin what he means is that full CarPlay integration includes displaying the map on the large LCD so you don't have to mess with things on your phone anymore.

Not only is there not an option to easily see just one lane is closed ahead, there’s no way to see lanes period. I think every other app has the “which lane should I be in” feature. Waze needs to catch up.
