Correct on everything. Excellent job.
Correct on everything. Excellent job.
Correct on the first and third questions, including my mishearing of the title. However, it's not The Crying Game.
Correct on everything. Great job.
Not going to lie, we kicked a tremendous amount of ass at Movie Trivia tonight. My film group was large enough today, with special visiting guests and interested friends, that we were able to get three teams of five each in play last night, my team of Octopussy Control, The Beer Hunters, and Brexit Through The Gift…
The trailer for this, while making the movie look as bad as Jesse described, certainly did showcase that Murphy's very easy to buy in a much more restrained role than normal. Would definitely be interested to see him working with a really ace director the next time around to build off of this.
You'll have to wait until next month when we get the return of Madea in her Halloween adventure.
I'm 100% down with that.
Indeed. If anyone reading this is contemplating suicide, please, please seek help. There are people out there who can help and, even if it's hard to see, there will be people out there who will be impacted.
That makes it sound a little like The Celebration (Festen), where people are still trying to carry on a dinner party in spite of really dark accusations.
And if there's anyone here who's seen it and possibly owns it, it'd have to be you.
I'm weird in that I liked the teaser, disliked the first trailer, and thought the final one was decent. Still not sold on it, but I'd take seeing the trailer for that over the other three. The only must see wide release animated film coming out this fall has to be Moana.
Oh yes. I saw Pete's Dragon one day and Kubo the next. Both times, I got the Monster Trucks trailer. That does indeed look wretched.
Clearly, we have very different definitions of the word charming and Baby Got Back and Butterfly are not in my definition.
I actually was lucky to not have the Wild Life trailer at my screening of Kubo. And I got at least two decent looking live action trailers, with A Monster Calls and Queen Of Katwe.
Could be worse. The Train song could be that Calling All You Angels piece of shit that came out a few years later. Or that song that shall not be named, lest it get stuck in your head as it's starting to mine.
This might very well have the worst trailer for an animated film coming out this fall, and in a season that's filled with the ones for Trolls and Sing, that is saying something.
I've never torrented video, only a some audio discographies. However, I'd prefer not downloading the software on my laptop. Streaming works well, and there are a decent number of websites that upload TV pretty regularly.
It did manage to work out that we had one particular teammate on my team this year, as she really was the MVP in getting two of the super hard Morrissey questions.
Very close on the Linney/Eastwood, as you got Absolute Power and Blood Work is so close release date wise. Jane Got A Gun is a fun guess, as he originally was supposed to be in that, which would've been the fourth time they've appeared on film together, except he dropped out. We debated Sky Captain, but I decided to…
Damn, another pop culture related festival the Chicagoland area has that I'm interested in, the other being B-Fest in Evanston in January, which is a 24 hour B-Movie marathon.
