I so wish I could remember what my professor who taught a class on Marxism thought about Sanders back in 2012, before he took this national stage. I do remember that he definitely didn't think he was as much of a radical as most people believe him to be. And that professor definitely was an expert on what most would

Yeah, a desire to live is always a good reason to back out of a film.

She was really good, although I'd say that the villains/anti-heroes of the show are the best part of Daredevil.

From what I've read, she was pregnant at the time of filming, preventing her from joining in. No idea if they have any in-universe explanation for why she's not there.

Let me know when you plan to see it. This is one I'd be willing to see with someone else rather than seek out by myself and I don't think there's anyone in the NYC Dissolve Film Crew eager to see this.

I've said it to you before but Zoe Kazan just has incredible chemistry in all of the indie rom coms I've seen her in, which are The F Word, Ruby Sparks, and In Your Eyes. She just needs to be the lead in more rom coms full stop and they'd be much, much better. Sadly, the market doesn't look the greatest for rom coms,

He was also really good as a rom com leading man in What If, also known as The F Word, which also has great stuff by Zoe Kazan and Adam Driver.

But not long enough.

Have you seen Hi, Mom? That's definitely worth a look. Has a really good early De Niro performance and the filming style is incredible.

Blow Out is definitely incredible. I'm also hoping Phantom Of The Paradise gets some more love from people.

I haven't. There are folks within the NYC Dissolve Film Crew who absolutely hate that one. I'm still curious about it myself.

Rent is closest, but I want one where she's the main focal point and not supporting the main dude.

I'd put Money Monster in the movies shown on TNT all the time category myself, although USA definitely works too.

Accurate. very accurate. Astonishing how much of that still works as a commentary on today.

With Lizzy Caplan, it's a combination of looks and the personality that she normally portrays that makes it for me.

Although I typically end up finding those women more attractive most of the time. See Mae Whitman in Perks Of Being A Wallflower, Brittany Murphy in Clueless, Lizzy Caplan in Mean Girls.

I actually caught a Q&A with De Palma last night at Metrograph in NY after a screening of one of his early films, Hi, Mom! (worth a watch, as it's a pretty fun film on the whole, with one particularly intense, still kind of shocking sequence towards the end). He was definitely enjoyable to listen to, with the best

Man Rosario Dawson so, so needs to be in much more films. Where's her big starring vehicle?

He'd certainly be one of the youngest Bond villains, which could be an interesting dynamic.

Money Monster isn't that great and is more unintentionally funny. It's a good cable film though, which I also suspect that this one will be.
