I “hung out” with a group of my closest friends on Saturday night, who went to college together but are now scattered all across the country, and we all found ourselves wondering why we didn’t ever think to do this before the quarantine.

The death rate is actually lower than that, at 2%, but that is many many times the death rate of the flu. Most everyone has had the flu and for people without compromised immune systems, our bodies have adjusted to help fight it. But our bodies have not had a chance to adjust to the coronavirus.
