No Strokes, Luda?

Right, but the point of that sequence was to underline how truly platonic their relationship is and how platonic relationships can be as rewarding and entertaining as romantic ones.

What? I'm as big and long a laugher as anyone I know. The point is, I think people tend to exaggerate how long they laugh for. I mean really, even 2 seconds is a pretty long time to laugh for if you think about it.

I was hoping they'd magic it back to normal this episode. It's legitimately effecting my ability to enjoy the show (which I now realise hinges largely on the fact that I have a crush on Fey).

5 minutes? Really? I struggle to carry a laugh for more than 2 seconds, even at really funny stuff.

Or "funny" like "funny to the suicide hotline operator who talks them down from a ledge"?

I don't know who Anthony Michael Hall is.

I'm Australian, and I thought she sounded like she was from Boston. Then again, I've never been to Boston or met anyone from there. I have seen The Departed though. @ohboyohboyohboy: Keitha from Flight Of The Conchords only sounds Australian if you've never met anyone from Australia but have seen that episode where

Are you really, truly, honestly serious? 30 seconds of laughter? I always read comments like these and think: "Man, all you've done is cast doubt over what could have been a nice, honest positive opinion." No one literally laughs for more than like, 10 seconds unless you're playing boardgames while drunk.

As far back as I can remember, I've always been a geek
Star Wars on VHS at age 7. Transformers. Mechwarrior video games. Taking apart and putting back together old pre-internet computers (i.e. when no one really cared if they worked or not). Playing Atari, NES and missing out on the SNES. Finally completing Super

If by "person next to you" you mean "yourself", and by "hand job" you mean "hand job"…

Woah, woah, woah, woah woah, wait. Since when is Jeff Goldblum questionable?

Right, but it still has to appeal to someone doesn't it? I guess I assume it doesn't.

Um
I really like this website, but this seems a little indulgent.

Call Of Duty: World At War was pretty good on Wii. Fifa 09, too.

I think it's a reference to a position in the karma sutra…

Girl Talk and M.I.A…
do not belong on this list. Fact. Coldplay either, really.

Right. KW is more of a proxy for Max's mother, with Judith being more like his sister. Max only learns how to deal with his mum's dating when seeing himself (Carol) and his reaction to it from the outside.

Wow, I thought "chalk and cheese" was pretty much part of every English-speaking country's vernacular. Guess it's a UK and Australia thing, perhaps. Ah well. Still… Community, eh? Eh? Ah, I've lost the passion..

I think they should make it more like /film's podcast, where they begin with talking about what they've seen (could have been tv on dvd, a movie, whatever) then talk about film news and then a mass review. It's more freeform and allows for them to talk about stuff they're actually interested in.
