I suppose you could skip the first game, but I wouldn’t recommed it. Sure, it is incredibly clunky and didn’t look good even when it was released. but it is still an unique experience that has no clear parallel in video games.

I am talking about the digital version, not the GBC cart. That should be obvious, since it is the release that matters to players in general; the GBC re-release is aimed at collectors who want the original thing.
Frankly, even then it was a minor hassle. That decision was mostly the result of over-conservative design on the part of Wayforward, I’d wager.
The problem with these things, as always, is the fact that these interpretations are hardly global. While the symbol has acquired a nasty significance in the US, many places still see it as what it is meant to be: an OK symbol.
The original Shantae is fantastic, but it has an ENORMOUS flaw in that our dear half-genie’s default movement speed is way too low, and getting her to run requires holding down a button. I know it is unlikely, but I really hope they fix this, since it is pretty much the only real flaw the game has, as far as I am…
For heaven’s sake, regular Budweiser barely counts as beer. Bud Light is pretty much water. “Garbage ass nonsense”, indeed.
Those ads sound tremendously interesting. I have a few recordings of old shows that I copied, waaaay back then, from family members that live in Japan; watching the stuff with the ads is an interesting experience. Where on youtube do you intend to post these ads? Sounds like something I’d like to watch.
Gaming development is very repetitive and grindy, sadly. Main reason why there is so little retention and so much burnout at most AAA studios.
Oh, you will see those series digitally.
Come on now, Brian.
Laserface is a troll who stalks people and believes anyone who disagrees with him is either a troll or a bigot. I wouldn’t bother with him, frankly.
That conversation, while cringeworthy and tremendously unprofessional, is not really the kind of thing that should cause a scandal.
Beneath a Steel Sky was a fantastic game that deserves a lot more recognition. I had no idea this sequel existed, so this news just made my day.
Mike is still around. He was one of the most prominent users of the fish, in fact.
Are you not from the United states? Disgracing people for infidelity has always been pretty common over there.
This is the age of social media. That results in the need to conform to the latest trend expeditiously, and without concern for precedent. What he did was bad, but firing him over it 3 years later, when the info was public AND he was told he would be allowed to stay is just contemptible.
Never understood those who felt Ritual looked uninspired. Sure enough, it is not exactly visually remarkable, but I felt the art direction did its job better than most of those ugly-ass AAA games that the industry tries to shove down my throat every year.
Is Aku Aku in this game? Love the character, but I did not see him anywhere.
The gameplay is enjoyable and the world is quite interesting.
The reaction to the spoilers was already quite... emotional, let’s say. I am no longer interested in the game, but I look forward to seeing the fiery discourse that is sure to erupt as soon as people begin finishing this game. It would probably be about as entertaining as the ME3 debacle if it hadn’t been for the…
