Happy to know that this is good. I was almost heartbroken after the mess that was Zero Time Dillema: so much potential squandered by a a rushed production schedule and a lack of budget. It felt like an enormous involution after the masterpiece that was VLR. Hopefully Uchikoshi got thd money and time to make something

This makes the game seem like a convoluted mess, filled to the brim with awkward symbolism and half-baked ideas worthy of a college freshman.

Never understood how trigger-happy Nintendo is with suing these websites, since it does not make a difference. Finding these ROMs is INCREDIBLY easy, especially on torrent sites, where suing the “perpetrator” is borderline impossible.

Absolutely true. I hate Chrono Cross’s story with a passion, but EVERYTHING ELSE about the game is so, so good. Trigger’s soundtrack may be more dear to my heart, but I can’t possibly deny that Cross’s is on a whole different level.

This game is truly a testament to our times. The whole thing - the outrage from both sides - feels like a farcical parody, the kind of thing you’d only see in absurdist comedy.

This is a fantastic article.

Simply correcting your mistake. No need to take it personally.

Black Lotus is not legacy legal. The card can only be played in Vintage, where it is restricted (one copy per deck).

As someone who also lives in Brazil, I’d like to say that some of your criticism is warranted, but a lot of it just reads like the uninformed ramblings of someone suffering from the so-called “mutt complex” (complexo de vira-lata, as people usually say it around here). Seriously, that entire rant regarding the

You certainly sound like a really fun person.

I highly doubt this game will be nearly as good as the original Bloodlines (I don’t trust modern gaming with that kind of game design anymore, and these developers don’t have one third of the pedigree Troika had), but Bloodlines 2 does look interesting. Here’s hoping it ends up being enjoyable, at least.

The game is no longer available for sale. Until (and if) it becomes available again, piracy should not be morally reprehensible.

Yeah, it was supposed to be 3 and 4, but it was too late to edit when I noticed it. I refuse to acknowledge 76 as a Fallout game (and even Fallout 4 is already pushing it a bit).

It depends. If you’re referring only to the recent Fallouts, then yes, I’d agree anyone who prefers Fallout 4 or 5 over NV has atrocious taste. If we include the original Black Isle games into the mix, however, I’d say the original Fallout stands tall as the best game in the franchise by a huge margin.

Frankly, Star Wars lore is mostly a jumbled, nonsensical pile of half-baked ideas that occasionally manages to bring forth a few moments of brilliance, and that is precisely what makes it fun. And it seemed that the people behind it all knew that, too. The way the franchise has been presenting itself since Disney took

Please be good, please be good, please be good...

Your roomate sounds like an asshole. I mean, DISSASSEMBLING someone else’s door?

The first Megami Tensei games were in first person and ridiculously obtuse (still delicious, though). Plenty of the series’ hallmarks were already present (demon negotiations, fusions, etc), but the dungeon crawling itself has changed quite a bit in the newer games, since back then JRPGs still drew heavily from games

I’d guess it is mostly due to the sheer size of these games. Persona games tend to go for 100 hours or longer, but occupy the player’s time with dungeons, romance, social links and time management. Mainline SMTs demand that much time solely for their dungeons; adding a Persona-esque story would make them too bloated.

Characters don’t really matter in traditional SMT games. They are essentially set pieces, and the plot is little more than an excuse for you to go around dungeon crawling. If you want good characters in an Atlus game, you really should search anywhere BUT in a mainline SMT game, ahaha.

The only aspect of Nocturne that
