@thepcguy: "Power Users" are probably those who don't get a new browser just because google's hawking it. They probably considered these things as well.

And thats all about to change, thanks to your rinky-dink, motion detect-y whoozywhatsit.

Surprised to see the number of chrome users! Hoping FF can one day surpass it in speed though.

@sbunny: ...$79?! Jesus! I feel for you!

Excellent timing. I currently am considering going back to a 'dumb' phone. I was recently thinking about the $30 a month ($360/year) I pay for my data plan, and wondering if it was really worth it. So for the past week I've been conducting an experiment and only used my phone for calls and texts. Turns out I barely

@Nava707: yes, you drag either the tab itself or the icon next to the url into the taskbar.

Is anyone else completely unable to pin websites to their taskbar? It just doesn't work!

As a former IE user, I switched to firefox as soon as I found out how slow IE really was. And as a current FF fanatic, I will still whole heartedly say that this beta flies like nothing I've ever seen before. Compared to its instant page loads, even chrome seems to stutter.

Just today I saw someone write: "quote on quote"

I ditched film years ago, but I don't get the hate. Its no secret old people are scared of technology, so what is so wrong with selling them something they are comfortable using? Its not like they are trying to trick anyone here. Their target audience has been using film for decades, they know they are going to have

DOUBLE RAINBOW ALL THE WAY!

@spidermedic: Look around the rest of the site and you will be 100% convinced it is BS. Either some art project, or viral marketing for a movie set in the near future.

@RipSteakface: The 1866, that's the one with the shiny brass body right? I love those. I needed a pistol caliber lever action for cowboy action shooting but went with a .357 Uberti 1892 due to cost.

I think you guys have all been fished in. This is not real. Take a look at the guy's site and watch some of the videos. There's an old lady with a harpoon fighting to keep her organic garden from being 'networked' by the government. And a picture of a test tube with the year 2046 on it.

@TheCrudMan: That's actually true for a lot of silenced guns, not just the Uzi.

I've fired an MP5SD and a Mk23 SOCCOM. Both were a (quiet) blast. With the MP5SD the only noise you could hear was the clack-clack-clack of the bolt opening and closing. With the Mk23, the slide didn't make nearly as much noise. That thing was creepy quiet.

@danger the pirate: That is a common misconception. Having a Class III license means you are a gun dealer who can sell suppressors and machine guns. There is no federal license needed to posses a suppressor, you just need to file the paperwork, pay your transfer tax $$, and wait, and wait, and wait.

@markedward: I think the idea behind the ruling is, they could use humans to follow your car without a warrant, and the GPS tracker accomplishes the same thing, so as long as they are not entering your vehicle there is no legal difference. But I also fail to see how they could legally enter your property to place the

I know a man who makes his living performing electronic survellience. According to him, there are 2 primary types of GPS trackers, battery powered and externally powered. The battery powered ones are the kind the attach outside/under the car and only last for 1-2 weeks. The externally powered trackers last 'forever'
