@rjachmann: That's pretty interesting. My Sennheiser experience is the complete opposite. I run with headphones and I was a headphone destroying machine. I picked up a pair of the Sennheiser twist to fit sport buds 3 years ago and they are still with me.

See the smart thing would have been to put you bag next to the camera. That way it is out of the shot and where you can see it.

Dear Giz, please take out the bit about bricking! You CANNOT brick an iPhone or iPod touch as of yet. Each current iDevice has a hardware fail-safe mode called DFU (Device Firmware Upgrade), which can be activated any time at all, including when the device is not functioning properly.
