WELL SHUCKS

And so it begins….

120 hours of DA:O straight male rejection begs to differ.

I think the use of the word "sweet" is multi-faceted here. It is a sweet life, indeed, but sugar does not have much substance.

Also what consensus is this that puts Vita over 8 1/2? I don't remember reading that newsletter.

L' broke more cinematic ground, Vita was more entertaining(much more). I guess it depends on your standards of what is more deserving of recognition but, frankly, the whole "this art is better than that art" thing has always bothered me. Did I just dismiss all criticism out of hand? Yes, sorry.

A man can dream.

I got no problem making fun of stuff I like, or stuff I like being made fun of, I'm just not used to that level of vitriol about something as subjective as taste. It reminds me of when I was a burgeoning indie rock snob as a teenager.

I'm probably a bigger TC fan cause of the nostalgia factor but, technically, yeah I'd agree.

I don't know if we are either, but if that flash in the pan thing is, in fact, referring to him, that's probably not correct. He had 2 megahit albums and one mixtape he actually managed to repackage as an album and outsell his peers with actual albums.

REEL QUICK

And that's totally fair. I just feel like when someone says someone like Drake, who is one of the most influential and want-to-be-collabed with artists in the business, "sucks" they probably think the entire oeuvre sucks.

oh man, the language. That was a sleeper track for me and now it's my theme music.

You should give it a shot, it took me awhile too but now I listen to it from end to end with no skips after 20+ replays

JUS BLAAAAAZE

Now that all the pro-Drake posts are getting votes, it's just gonna look like a prophecy fulfilled. History is cruel.

I totally agree. There's not alot of acts that could make the leap from mixtapes to studio albums so seamlessly.

No, I agree, you sound out of touch but 31 is very young, if you're living in a Western country.

Well, unlike you, I try not to go in on strangers for something as personal as musical taste.

I'd say it was unjustified as soon as "Take Care" came out. The young Steely Dan of the game.
