Frankly, 2 things that would save way more lives, be easier to implement, and would not introduce Big Brother tracking:

Because school zones in many places aren’t a hard stop 25mph. many also say “when children are present” and have their own flashers that indicate this. So the school zone may be a part of a street that is generally 45mph, but you only go 25 during school hours specifically before and after school.

It really shouldn’t be hard to flip a Land Cruiser in today’s world.

You know I wouldn’t be opposed to automakers putting in some kind of no resale clause, for maybe like 6 months after purchase. you have dealers marking them up, because moron WILL pay that markup, then you have people buying them for the sole purpose of reselling for more than they paid, which you KNOW dealers pay

I’ve heard bodywork on Teslas is notoriously expensive, which I would imagine rental cars need quite a bit of.

I’ve been air traveling for business and pleasure for 30+ years. (fate please ignore this next statement)

Yup.

Yeah, I’ve never had a gate-checked bag get lost. The baggage checked at the gate is usually very important (strollers, wheelchairs, and other similar mobility items) and so I find it a pretty fool proof method.

And every morning when you wake up, you could stand on your head.

Stopping for two seconds is inefficient in time, energy, and morale when there is absolutely no one in sight.

For anything other than a short (i.e., one where I can get away with just the suit I’m wearing) business trip, I have no problem with checking a bag. I’ve never had bags lost, and I’ve never waited very long to check or pick up my bags. The modern overhead-bin drama created by all the “I will die before I check a bag”

I check one big bag every time I go on a major trip and I have yet to have any kind of trouble. I don’t need to worry about fighting with overhead space, so I’m not in any rush to board. I don’t need to tiny-size my toiletries, I can just throw them in the checked bag. I don’t know why this is a big deal for people.

I once had to come to a sudden stop on the freeway in my Honda Del Sol.

I want a girl with a short skirt

She’s changing her name from Kitty to Karen
She’s mowing down pedestrians with a white Chrysler Lebaron

Please remember to tip and give your trafficker a 5 star rating if you were pleased with your experience.

Man, oh, man how I hate this argument, simply because nearly everyone gets it wrong. You aren’t innocent until proven guilty. You are presumed innocent until proven guilty. That one word makes a big difference.

“In this country, you’re innocent until proven guilty” which is why I pulled a gun on an innocent man until he proved he wasn’t guilty. Flawless victory.

“And everybody knows what’s going on in this country with fentanyl and child trafficking and rape. Terrible stuff.””

Ah yes, those child traffickers who famously return children to their homes safely.

I’m a mechanic and shop owner that has rebuilt electric/hybrid vehicle batteries. The issue isn’t untrained techs, tools or anything else it is the manufacturers purposefully making the batteries impossible to service.
