They need to set this series in the present day with a new team. Avoid jumping on the 80s nostalgia bandwagon. Film on location in New York and make the city a character. Do lighthearted “Ghost of the Week” episodes and season long big-bads like Buffy.

I really prefer Peanuts’ earlier art style, it seems a little more thoughtful. It’s like looking at early Mickey Mouse cartoons, before the true commercialization began.
