The first thought I got from that episode was that Justin Roiland was not a fan of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

So was this episode secretly Justin Roiland's way of saying that he was sick of modern superhero movies, particularly Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2?

By contrast, it only took 6 writers to make Spider-Man: Homecoming! Now it feels like a perfectly manufactured Marvel product instead of a horribly manufactured Sony product!

Didn't Jimmy Kimmel use this title for a sketch once?

"Original does not equal good. Anyone can do anything." —Bo Burnham

I don't know which animated yellow monstrosities I'd rather have my kids drag me to see a whole movie about: Emojis or Minions?

Among all of David Warner's voice roles, I'm surprised no one brought up his role as Doctor Wrecker on The Amazing World of Gumball!

Actually, the full title for Rogue One was originally going to be "Suicide Squad: An Unnecessary Star Wars Story."

Not to mention a huge skybeam! That's never been done before in any big-budget movie the past 7 years!

Interestingly enough, the only movies this summer that were both critically-acclaimed AND enormous moneymakers that outperformed their predecessors were from Marvel or DC. Literally every other would-be tentpole has failed critically and/or commercially, though there have been nice lower-budget surprises like Baby

"Help. The human's about to escape."
"Get your paws off of me, you damn dirty ape!"

I'm surprised that _this_ guy chose to pan this movie and not Armond White!

My favorite movies of 2017 so far:

Pixar throughout the 2010's: "Member Cars? Member Finding Nemo? Member Toy Story? Member Monsters Inc.?"

"What whimsical whimsy of wonderment is this?" –Nostalgia Critic

I'm sick of DreamWorks Animation as a film studio, but at least I respect the How to Train Your Dragon movies.

We are out-GUNNED…

Rick Sanchez, BoJack Horseman, Joffrey, King George III (from Hamilton), The Man in Black (from Westworld), Zack Snyder

"Alec Baldwin is, A BABY! Rated Pee-Gee!"

Yeah, but it's opening the same weekend as Christopher Nolan's new movie. I wouldn't be too sure about its chances.
