The leveling and story really IS the game and the story is one of the better Final Fantasy stories, so it’s kind of paying to skip what you paid for in my opinion. Seems more for people who want to quickly level alt characters. If you’re new to the game, just play through and enjoy it.

If you were going to play exclusively on PS4 you might want to hook up a USB keyboard for text chat, but aside from performance it is the exact same game, and they share the same servers so it’s not even like you’ll have bigger populations on one platform versus the other.

It works really well with controller, actually. It has a hotkey system that’s really intuitive so you can access all your skills and commands on the fly without getting confused, and you can bind pretty much any conceivable game function on there, from emotes to loadouts to menus for easy access. I play on the PC but

There were a few that did that... there was an Appleseed anime where it was 3D with a higher framerate, and it looked pretty bad. When there’s more frames of animation it’s easier to spot movements that look janky and un-lifelike. Fewer frames means the motion you’re seeing is being more loosely interpreted by your

The main conflict presented in this game was that the human settlers won’t survive if they can’t find a suitable home in the new galaxy, and that conflict gets definitively resolved. So yeah, they set up some other things that could be explored in future games but it doesn’t end on a cliffhanger.

The main plot is resolved with hints at what DLC or a sequel could be about and a couple subplots still open. So it’s not like the game just kinda ends and leaves you hanging, it does tell a full story with a conclusion.

On the contrary I think it’s actually really difficult to get a feel for how to utilize your class when you don’t unlock the full toolset until you’re pretty far in. I’m a fan of FFXIV but I have a general problem with the MMO leveling process. If you’re playing DPS it’s pretty hard to screw up, and if you’re playing

I think it will see the light of day but it’s going to be a while, I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for it. People forget what a pioneer Michel Ancel is; Rayman 2 was an incredibly ambitious game for its time, and Beyong Good and Evil combined stealth action and vehicular gameplay in an open world at a time when no

Westworld wasn’t even the first to do it. It’s one of the oldest themes of science fiction. There’s still some meat on that bone but I’ll be extremely surprised if Detroit had anything new to say about it.

This is still my favorite competitive game out of all the options available right now. It hits this sweet spot between a MOBA and an action game that nothing else is doing, not even Paragon or Smite. Unfortunately I think when it came out, they really sold it as a shooter and even made the more shooter-y characters

Well, you’re the one who wants it so why don’t you describe how you envision it playing out?

How would that benefit the game, though? It seems like it’d just be a check-list feature. If you had to actually take off, land, fly from planet to planet... get interrupted by dogfights... it would slow the pacing of the game way down. One of the best things about Destiny is how they streamlined the process of

I don’t really understand why people are complaining that the game mechanics are the same. That’s what I love about Destiny! Don’t go changing it and messing everything up!

I actually prefer playing with a gamepad, and I like the way the meta changes with gamepads as well. Headshots are much more difficult and you can’t whip 180 degrees around at lightning speed. The result is more medium and close-range gun battles and for long-range players it demands more flanking maneuvers, which I

The badge of honor is that you can start every social media post with “As a Destiny Vanilla Year One Beta player...” and everyone will stop their petty short-sighted squabbling to listen to your divine wisdom with eyes filled with awe, and open hearts.

I wouldn’t call Diablo 3's writing a step up from Destiny. Though there is more of it, I’ll give them that...

Injustice and Uncharted use full performance capture for all the dialogue. Andromeda uses hand-animated mouth positions and an algorithm to match those mouth positions to the vocal track. Horizon from what I understand is somewhere inbetween, they captured a real actor’s face and mouth movements and then used an

Map Light Attack and Heavy Attack to the R1 and R2 triggers, and evade to Circle. This is the true path of light, and all other paths are a dark and inescapable madness.

Well they did redesign her to make her slightly less boob armor/dominatrixy so I guess there’s no stopping the white male genocide.
