It's not bad so much as it's just non-existent. This is not a narrative-driven game at all. I would guess the "story" missions make up maybe 20% of the actual content in the game. And there isn't much story in them. The big appeal of the game is loot grinding which some people will love and some people will hate. No

I picked a Warlock because of those sweet, sweet jackets and a really fun super-attack. But I think i'm going to have to roll a Hunter as well so I can go all Stabby McStabbington. And even as a super hip Warlock I have to admit those cloaks are bitchin'.

Lemme tell you about the 90's, son. It was all ferrets down the trousers all day and night. The bites... the hair... the infections... It wasn't until the Gameboy came along that this plague of madness finally ended.

Yeah I did the same thing and I hope you're right. The 1st Monsters had one of the worst trailers of all time, overlooking everything that made the movie special, and building up expectations for something completely different.

I could go either way... if this trailer is just trying to attract dude-bros and the actual movie is more subversive, it could be a nice surprise. After all the trailer for the 1st Monsters made it look like a crappy generic low-budget Cloverfield.

You should watch it, it's an underrated gem. Just know that it's not an action or horror movie. Like, not even a little bit.

Meh... the original was so, so lovely for what it was. It wasn't what I was expecting, or even what I wanted, but it was actually better. And the payoff at the end is so good. It was small, simple, honest and beautiful. This looks like it's the exact opposite. I hope the trailer is just lying to attract a bigger

I can deal with one-liners, even cheesy one-liners. I can't deal with one-liners being used to set-up one-liners, with follow-up one-liners. You can't have an entire conversation of one-liners, unless you are intentionally trying to sound like the world's worst improv group.

Between this, Watchdogs and Dark Souls... I hope people realize that all this complaining about mid-development changes is going to result in developers being more secretive. For me that's not a bad thing - I think games are announced way too early. But it's not magically going to make it so that games don't change

The argument about whether sexism is a problem has long come and gone. In the year 2014, there's no point even trying to argue that sexism doesn't exist in the industry.

Here, I'll be even worse than you. I'm not going to play this because no avatar customization. I really am that shallow.

Tricorn hats should be an option in every game.

Well, a lot of fans are sharpening their internet pitchforks because Miyazaki was apparently working on this exclusive instead of Dark Souls 2 and they argue that this is why Dark Souls 2 was shit. And they'd have a point if Darks Souls 2 wasn't actually the most awesome game that came out this year.

I can't see much of a difference. On PC you can hack in SSAO, better texture filtering, and stuff like that, which makes it look slightly nicer. But if you are sitting seven feet from your television, all those bells and whistles basically amount to absolutely nothing.

He is basically the best character on Walking Dead. If he is onscreen he is either kicking ass or making you cry big manly tears.

"Silent Hill was one of the games to handle sexual themes maturely"

I'm waiting to see more of the world they're creating. Right now it's some various punks, fighting skeletons in a generic dungeon, with animations, fx, etc that look alpha or pre-alpha. It's hard to tell if it sucks, or if they're simply showing it off way too early.

Well, I guess I'll go back to not caring about Tomb Raider again. Thanks for getting me all excited for nothing, Crystal Dynamics.

You hit the nail on the head for why these videos come across as so smug and pretentious to me. Yes, tropes exist! What he is doing is tantamount to someone who listens to jazz and criticizes the fact that they are using pre-existing chords and scales. This seems to be a pervasive internet circle jerk of, "Oh I can
