I’ve known a couple cats that could be Burkes.
Not my cats, of course... -_-

Lotta swamp and marsh in Polk. Even the solid ground is more like a crust several feet thick.
Build on stilts! It’s forward-thinking, and helps to keep a variety of critters out of the home.
I’m really surprised that they haven’t offered some kinda generalized customization for the cat’s appearance. It seems like a no-brainer that players would like to make “their own” kitty. Make it an NG+ option, if nothing else.
Spunkmeyer, Gorman, Wierzbowskiiii!!
I’m curious to know if there are various skins for the cat... all the shots I’ve seen, I think, are of the same striped tabby. But I cannot imagine that the developers didn’t see the value in allowing players to make the cat look like their own kitties.
Not to poke fun at Togashi-sama, but the man doesn’t own a bidet? I thought Japan was the land of high-tech toilets, and he is quite wealthy.
All that aside, nobody should work themselves to death. If a mangaka stops loving what they do, it’s going to end badly for everyone.
And I don’t know how Oda does it, by all…
Getting shot...
Also possibly worth noting that as far as drawings go, the missiles are pretty simple and the smoke trails are almost consistently an ease-in, making the in-betweening basic. The fighters themselves are actually static holds, one and done.
Animators who aren’t afraid to draw shouldn’t see those cuts (particularly…
What I found really neat about Macross Frontier was the way the story mirrors the original Macross/Robotech but then constantly flips the script to keep you on your toes.
For instance, both shows have an early scene where the guy pilots a Valkyrie to help save the girl as she’s falling. But in the original, she’s…
He appears to be using their game as a marketing tool for his mod, which he sells. That’s not going to fly... you can’t take my thing and use it to sell your thing, even if your thing is made to work with my thing.
When you buy a videogame, you’re buying a licensed copy that you have an exclusive permission to engage…
You think if you snuck up behind anyone in public, even a girlfriend, and shoved your hands up their dress or grabbed their breasts from behind and began squeezing, you wouldn’t rightfully deserve a punch in the face?
They’ll have heard of the original series, but not actually seen it, and they have no clue as to who Yatsuhiro Nightow is.
I was under the impression that this story is the reason Al always looks for full permission from the artists now... because after the Coolio incident, it was clear that agencies don’t always represent the opinions of their artists.
Far as I know, Coolio ultimately got cool with the parody, but Al is very good about…
Both of those promo images. I know props and safety are important, but that just looked embarassing.
I’m wondering if it’s generational... Gawker media hiring younger (cheaper) writers, who are painfully ignorant of the history behind the media they’re writing about.
One of the best-drawn manga out right now. Like, exceptionally impressive illustration quality. Starts off being weirdly horny, but ends up being oddly sweet.
The grossest it usually gets is showing teens in their underwear (in generally embarassing rather than sexy situations) and references to Okarun’s testicles…
It’s uncountably annoying that they refer to this as being based off the OVA, and not the much larger, long-running manga.
I watched long enough to see the “excuse” for his constant groping. It’s weak shit.
SPOILERS for anyone who cares
Elizabeth is the umpty-dozenth reincarnation of Melodias’s angelic lover. He’s supposedly commiting constant sexual assaults in an attempt to “awaken” her, and she’s weirdly okay with it because she has…
If I’m not mistaken, they’re adapting Flashpoint, which is DC’s excuse to break out a multiverse of their own. With this film, they can more easily recast/replace any actor as-needed by simply creating an “alternate universe” version and the requisite shenanigans to carry them forward.
This is almost certainly…
I wanna hate on that Ryu costume, it’s so ridiculous, but... I can’t... I don’t... I don’t hate it? I dunno, it works in the Capcom aesthetic somehow.
