There's a lot of psychological research to suggest that a lot of the reason we have trouble making decisions is because 1) there are too many options 2) we have a lot of time to think about it 3) there are too many good points between the options we have 4) emotions such as predicted future regret and fear of loss

I just do stuff and see what happens. As it turns out, just because a decision is difficult doesn't mean it's important.
