There are shelters open all over the state. There’s a shelter down the street from me in Tampa that is mostly people from Treasure Coast. My kid’s Girl Scout troop just took some GS cookies to them.

Same. Over dramatic delivery? Probably, yeah. Are lots of people going to die? Probably, yeah. Could some of those deaths have been prevented if they’d evacuated, and had the opportunity to evacuate? Probably, yeah.

Am I missing something? These folks do need to evacuate. They could die like thousands before them if they don’t. What context am I not getting? We don’t have hurricanes in Atlanta.

Geez I wore the shit out of this stuff back in the late 60's - long bell jeans with giant platform shoes (usually suede) - high waisted, light blue denim, giant leather belt with giant buckle. It was a uniform, can’t believe its back.
