In academia, comic sans is an oft used font by leadership. I had a dean who changed the default font of their email to comic sans — and this was someone who was NOT AT ALL TECHNOLOGICALLY SAVVY. So I have no idea how they figured out how to do that. Their CV (all 48 pages of it) was also comic sans.
