They probably know Lucifer from Tom Ellises hotness.

The irony is she plays the science geek in the movies.
“if you don’t conform to popular opinions. but ask questions and think for yourself....you get cancelled”
Here’s the Sterling video. It’s a good watch.
Please consider championing Lewis Hamilton on a more regular basis, on AND off the track. Thank you.
Man, fuck this guy. Dr. Atlas was President Trump’s mouthpiece for nonsensical coronavirus bullshit. He was a spreader of false information who out of his depth and pushed for the reopening of schools claiming that “hysteria” was what was causing this massive outrage to a virus that has killed more than 250,000…
Bold of you to assume a Netflix show will get a third season.
Vexing. I’m very vexed.
Bread Dildo!
I was wondering if the Grinch was going to slide in at the bottom ranking!!! Thoroughly deserved!
holy shit bad boys 3 came out this year? coulda swore it was a 2018 thing
This exactly. The “backstory” here, as well as the elements you raise, completely contradict the theme of the original story. Mrs. Geisel’s missing that betrayal is even more bewildering than her overlooking the “key party” reference. There was room in expanding this story to explore a lot of interesting themes of echo…
When did “cultural impact” become this defining metric of success? It’s so weird, I never heard that phrase at all until people started needing a reason to shit on Avatar.
I seem to remember that the look of Gladiator was copied quite a bit and has since gone on to define what a ‘historical/fantasy’ picture looks like, though again, that could be something that was in the air already that was just crystallized by Gladiator.

In 2003, Mike Meyers starred in a live-action Cat In The Hat movie that was every bit as aggressively bad as The Grinch. But Meyers’ movie was a box-office disappointment, and Audrey Geisel hated it. She refused to allow any more live-action adaptations of her late husband’s books, ever.
“Carrey also craved institutional approval, but his serious-actor moves, like 1998’s The Truman Show and 1999’s Man On The Moon, didn’t win him the Oscars that he so badly wanted. (He didn’t even get nominated.”
Thank Christ for that. Rewatching the original X-men recently, Jackman is so, so good in the role. What an incredible actor.
Tom, if you’re looking for a follow-up feature as you enter the home stretch with this one, may I suggest a year by year breakdown of the biggest film financial failures (i.e. greatest difference between budget and return). You can call it The Popcorn Chumps.
Don’t forget the most important outcome of MI:II; Dougray Scott was contracted to play the bad guy, and had to bow out of this silly superhero film X-men.
