And his big inspiring speech centered on him making an egg salad sandwich.

I saw this movie three times in the theater. My friends were baffled by this behavior. I am baffled by a review that doesn’t even mention that first Tom Waits scene, where he tells them he’s just at the old age home for the ladies.

This movie also marks the last time anyone should ever have used the “did you know that

“Until you learn to master your rage—”
“Your rage will become your master? [Long pause] That’s what you were going to say, right?
“Not necessarily.”

Wes Studi is a national treasure.

I can’t imagine why Chuck would pull that off on this one (a legitimate vacancy for Trump to fill) when he couldn’t for the last one (a vacancy stolen from Obama).

Agreed. While the nation suffered overall from the concept of “Democrats don’t need my vote,” in New York that is not an unreasonable attitude.

However it was probably pretty irresponsible of Pareene to broadcast that view to a larger audience.

Man, fuck not just that guy, but also every mealy-mouthed liberal who pretended to mourn his death.

Yeah I just watched it all that way. (Thanks Mom and Dad for still paying for cable!)

I gave it one more episode after that but there was no saving things.

All told there were what, five good episodes of that show?

Hey Dude, calm down--these shows weren’t really All That. I don’t see how they’ll resonate with my Modern Life but you can Explain It All if you want-- I Double Dare you.

My god that was terrible. From the “Wait this is just a drug dream?” to the “what am I missing here about fat Mycroft?” to the “Sherlock explains feminism to a room full of silent women,” just such a waste.

I thought it was funny. I loved everything to do with Krabappel in that episode (her interactions with Real Skinner, Armin’s repeated “but instead I’m leaving town forever,” and her insistence that she doesn’t care if he’s a liar because he’s a good honest man). Mrs. Skinner’s ice-cold farewell to her real son is
