@archedeyes: This is an extremely insightful observation and completely spot-on: the more that we can equate homophobia with blatant, angry, and intentional emotional and psychological abuse, the more they will be pushed into the fringe/extremist camp and it will be "weird" or "crazy" to associate with them.

It's berry appropriate for Ms. Shortcake to be out and about, given that it's berry season!
