Turning something of MJ's into a diamond is totally something out of Footballers' Wive$, yet I feel he it's something he would completely approve of—both the diamond and the reference to the insane BBC soap opera.

@SharonTaint: Exactly. There's a time to mouth off, and a time to be gracious. I don't care if you're giving some chin music to someone if they deserve it; I do think that if it's related to your profession and wouldn't normally go into MSM, it's better to keep you mouth shut to the press and try to keep it behind…
@hovy: This. Only her films tend to be fairly successful, hence this being moved from the fall to a summer release. She shits on them well after the fact (at least most of the time, save for Grey's).
@swashbuckling: When I saw the new Evian "skating babies" ad as one of the three stories shown during the show's opening moments today, I couldn't help but blurt out "Really, Today Show? This merits this attention?"
@PandaBearPuffer: Mine too—in fact, he was the Ina to my Jefferey (of Barefoot Contessa) in leaving me a note instructing me where food was when I got home from work as he was going out for dinner. It was adorable.
@Vivi21: Listen to an hour of daytime NJ 101.5 FM and you will know the truth. We listen to them whenever we drive down through NJ to visit the parents, and no lie—usually in the 30 or so total minutes you spend with them on your dial, you will hear either a NJ Housewife stereotype complaining about the Starbucks…
Outstanding, Hortense.
@CollegeBookworm: While I understand your frustration, you should feel pretty good about your family's efforts—that's a LOT more than many do. You can't change habits overnight—it takes time and small steps.
@LaComtesse: And hey—those are valuable tourist dollars, which is a VERY good thing.
@LaComtesse: Hear-fucking-hear.
@bloodflower: That's cool—I don't watch much Disney Channel these days (too many good sitcom reruns on ABC Family that keep me plenty busy) so I wouldn't know if they had something like that or not.
Produce branding really bugs me—fresh food is already expensive enough without having to pay a cut to Disney on top of that. I wish they would instead conscript its stars in doing a series of kid-friendly how-tos on how to make healthy snacks and meals, because kids are making more meals at home (I have the actual…
@Hamsterpants: And why isn't he hitting up the fab farmers markets?? THAT'S what I would take advantage of if I had to stay in LA for any duration.
Sadie!!!! You're cute as a button, and I'm so like you with regards to airports: I too like to get there early (it's my paranoia of missing a plane) and I love to chat with people on planes if I'm traveling by myself.
@hellosunshine: One of my great friends and I were getting married within a month of each other, so we planned a co-bachelorette. It was fun—though I enjoyed the dinner part the most as I picked the menu (Spanish tapas!) and managed to please even the pickiest eaters among my friends more than the dancing.
@gerbilsoutofexile...is cheap and easy: Ahhh! Remember the episode where the girl had one of those dresses and her father was practically groping her as he explained the consultant that the dress wasn't what was ordered?
@undefined: @brendastarlet is on it: Completely agree—she had the grace to criticize the crappy dishes (of which there were many) to the judges' table, and mainly focused on how this was all going towards a great charity (not to mention ignore the folly of holding a Christmas fundraiser in July).
@brendastarlet is on it: She was unbelievably gracious during the episode where she was the guest judge on Top Chef. And the smarmy little asswipes...er, I mean cheftestants...were reportedly bitching about why she was deemed appropriate as a judge. Fortunately, people from the show blogged about how awesome she was…
@badmutha: ::bangs random objects on table:: HELP mumma, dahling! Help mumma!
@kate!: You can also set your settings to only allow friends to see photos tagged of you, and then you can dis-allow any people who you're nervous about seeing even those.
