So I'm planning a wedding (as my previous comments in any Hells Bells threads will tell you). And I'll admit—it's a fairly "fancy" affair (though keep in mind that my ideal wedding would be eloping in Italy, and then having our first dance to "My Funny Valentine" in some secluded jazz club).

@TruculentandUnreliable: I really didn't care until they started filming last July in Yale/New Haven. The sets were awesome—completely redressed one of the main streets in 1957 garb, and people literally spent days waiting in line to try and be an extra. So I'll want to see it and be all "OMG!! Chapel Street!!!"

@Scoregasm: The lack of quality films has justified why we have digital cable and DVR in our house—TV just has better programming to watch.

Sadness—your fashion insights will be missed. But best of luck—may your hats fly as high as your dreams.

HOORAY!!!! Loved this book—it, the Fudge books, and most of Salinger's work created this amazingly fun New York City where kids were kids, but they had a few thoughts between those ears of theirs, and they were taught to be independent and to look out for themselves. Add me to the list of those who wanted to move

@kimsama: If you liked Chances Are, you'll like this one too. It's totally sappy and silly (and the closing credits end with a really lame 90's soft rock hit), but RDJ is just so damn loveable in it. I had it on VHS and would watch it all the time—must find it to watch while I clean this weekend...

@kimsama: Don't forget Only You with Marisa Tomei. RDJ+lush Italian backdrop=drooling.

@golddigger: And he was the sole reason why I went back to Ally McBeal—it killed me that he relapsed during the production of the fourth season. Once he left, I left (again).

@hortense: For reasons beyond my comprehension, the BOSE store at the King of Prussia Mall playe Drumline nonstop. I guess it was to showcase how awesome the sound was but...Drumline? I was in a drumline, and I wouldn't be able to watch that movie more than twice. It was very much like the Michael MacDonald video

I've loved Ralph Rucci for years—yeah, he'll make some crazy haute couture creations for his shows (alligator sheath dress, anyone?), but he's been able to sustain a business for some 26-odd years without having to push lots of logoed accessories, so he clearly knows what his client base wants to wear. At least

@not.a.clever.name: Very true. After the wedding, we're toying with the idea of saying we're "single" again, jus to see if that screws with anyone's head.

@AllThatYaz: I think you've perfectly pin-pointed one of my main complaints re: Facebook.

@hortense: All of the sudden I'm remembering the scene from "Conflict Resolution" (from The Office) where Oscar HATES Angela's poster of babies playing instruments:

That song is all kinds of atrocious. And seeing the track listing for the soundtrack made me sad—I LOVED most of the songs they used throughout the series—lots of little indie bands, or lesser-played tracks on a more recognizable album. SATC and The Sopranos were both really great at that. The movie? Not so much.

I try work from home as much as possible whenever the bosses are out, because our office is so freaking small that I'm usually by myself and don't talk to anyone anyway. I'm in my normal uniform now: sleveless hoodie, Hanes tank, and AA shorts. If I leave, it's either in yoga pants or in scrubs over my shorts. We're

@LaComtesse: Honestly, I haven't been able to look at them yet—the last few weeks have been INSANE. Crikey. But I will check them out—I really need the ideas!

The dress I wore for my brother's wedding was very traditional, but I didn't mind it so much—she did the two-piece route, so I didn't have to spend a dime on alterations. What ruined the look, though, were the gloves she gave us as "gifts." Worst bridesmaid gift ever—"here are some stupid satin red gloves you'll never
