@vegemitekid: Gordon Ramsey became significantly sexier to me after seeing a few episodes of the BBC version of Kitchen Nightmares.

@Anna: I'm watching vintage American Gladiators episodes on ESPN Classic and I'm still refreshing. :-) I give them credit for making the men and women compete with the same events.

Damn, I never found LC particularly striking, but that is an amazing shot of her with the lipstick. Great picture of her. Well done.

@Jezebabe: Totally random fact, and not on topic, but how's this for fair: the U.S. Virgin Islands are in the same Federal circut court as Philadelphia (3), and therefore all of the judges get to spend January and February down there hearing cases. This and other random facts are what I picked up in my honors pre-law

@BeckySharper: Seriously. Yay to being financially responsible!

@BeckySharper: Gotcha—that's what I've gleamed from the show, but I was curious as how it may have compared to actually being there. They keep saying how buying the wedding dress is the most important purchase of your life—I dunno about you, but when I bought my first car it was a.) more expensive than my dress and

@Gumbina80: Since the dress I mentioned above gets tried on at least once an episode by brides of different ages and shapes, I can assure it never stops looking trampy. It's like

These dresses aren't nearly as wacky as some of the ones featured on TLC's Say Yes to the Dress that follows brides and bridal consultants around Kleinfelds in NYC. They have a house designer whose dresses "surprisingly" get a lot of airtime even though they look like this and cost northwards of $6k:

@Le Kangourou de Kataroo is reading this sexy blog.: I'm a J.Crew bride—bought my dress over a year ago (it has since been discontinued) and my wedding is in October. Since then I've helped other friends shop for more traditional dresses, and on occassion I've gotten the niggling feeling that perhaps I should have

@Lymed: Congrats! Enjoy this time, and try not to focus on wedding B.S. that automatcially comes with announcing an engagement until you want to.

@braak: I know, right? Remember when the Plaza had Gene's Books and Hermann's World of Sports? The developers probably felt that they could more easily add on retail space to the Plaza (and also wanted to make sure there were enough high-end stores between the two in order to entice people to go to both) when they

Heh...I was visiting the family this past weekend and made a quick stopover at the King of Prussia mall in PA, and was absolutely fascinated:

@Archetype: Jill Scott is amazing—"He Loves Me (Lyzel in E Flat)" is one of the sexiest songs ever written. Along with "Nobody Does it Better," sung by Carly Simon and written by Carole Bayer Sager.

All of this makes me want to run home and watch last night's Top Chef again—would so much rather watch people make food than villify it the way this does.

@blondegrlz: Me too. And I remember reading about her (as well as Tiger Woods and the Willams sisters) in the "Kids Did It!" section of National Geographic World.

@videogoddess: A brilliant act of casting would be bringing in Iggy Pop as her dad.

@LaComtesse: I was (and I guess still am?) The Other Woman as well, even though it didn't make quite as much sense—the "ex" was a "best friend" who was planning on marrying my man once we finished college. She told me this on the way to the mall on a very ill-advised shopping trip where I was just trying to be the

@littlebluebug: @mknfuss: I think the director/producer was legally barred from using any more of LMM's books because he wasn't giving the estate the cut it deserved or something similar, hence the craptastic debacle of the third movie.
