Life, hacked. The grasshoppers are pretty good. I usually hate dark chocolate, but it prefer the Thin Mints here. Still, they are definitely comparable. making a donation though, definitely a good suggestion. There's also a Girl Scout Cookie Finder app for iPhone for those who can't resist the real deal. It showed

Actually, as a GS leader, I disagree. All of the revenue goes to the local troops - which is about 65% of the retail cost ($4 this year).

Lorna Doone's aren't uncommon at all, at least not in the US. They're made by Nabisco, which means they've got a big share in every market.

Why is it not wrong to write an article on how to hurt the fundraising abilities of such an amazing organization? How do you not feel like a complete and total douche?

Family Dollar, in NC and WV at least, has an off brand of cookies that look and taste like GS cookies. Versions of Samoas, Thin Mints, Dulce de Leche, Lemon, and Tagalogs. They are in colorful boxes the same shape and size as the GS cookies.

Wow, I never thought anyone given the opportunity would compare Girl Scout cookies to cardboard, and sing the praises of the McDonaldland cookies.

Only about 15% of the money for GS cookies goes to "support the troops." The rest pays for the actual cookies. So if you want to "support the troops," just give a donation. I love the cookies, but you're not getting much for your money either way.
