Fingers crossed for this.

She has a husband and two kids. She’s also a refugee; one of the boat people who left Vietnam in 1979 when she was 6 months old. I imagine Trump’s immigration policies in the last few days hit especially close to home for her.

IIRC Women led the bread marches as well as the march on Versailles during the French Revolution. I’m not saying I want another Reign of Terror, but women do get shit done.

I’m so proud of her! I voted for this lady, she’s a badass mamma-jamma.

If nothing else it will force the House Republicans to show that they really don’t give a rat’s flying fuck about national security or supporting the military.

So glad I voted for her. That tool Mica she displaced would have been too happy to go along with this shit show. Get em Stephanie.

This, however is Normal:

Right after the election, many were arguing to give him the benefit of the doubt. “Why compare him to a dictator like Mussolini when he hasn’t done anything yet?” they said. “This is America,” they said. “Checks and balances...”

My theory is that it’s all on Trump, so they can distance themselves from this later on, when shit will inevitably hit the fan. That’s why they look so happy looking at President Trump signing exec orders he does not even understand.

Or, a coalition of former Presidents ?

What do we do though? I’ve been protesting, signing petitions, donating, calling my representatives, trying to get more involved in local politics, etc., but the frustrating thing is that it seems like no one can stop him. It also feels like we have no true leadership. Honestly I wish Obama would come back into the
