In my area, we are largely considered one and the same. I could write a book about my experience here with the medical community at large, but no one would believe me!

That’s along the lines of what I’ve been thinking. People have been talking the 80s and the 50s, and I’m like “Keep going!”

I think it’s something along the lines of the pre-season games: There’s not a “full” seated SCOTUS yet, which they know, so Republican-run states are continuing to come up with incarnations of more draconian laws (knowing they will be challenged), biding their time until a conservative justice is seated.

Honestly, what did they REALLY think was going to happen? That he was going to keep all the things they liked about Obama and get rid of all the things they didn’t? That’s not how Republicans operate!!!

Ragestroke. I’d die of a ragestroke. I don’t know how they do it either, but hat’s off to them, because they are strong AF.

We left San Diego County (I’m and native) almost 6 years ago due to the cost of living. We were both working full-time positions in middle class jobs, living paycheck to paycheck. Promises of a better quality of life and being a single income family and off we went to greener pastures to a place I’d neither heard of…

This just sucks.

Right? And the giant amber one walks on my pillow (my hair!) to get into the windowsill (he too big to jump) while I’m sleeping, and when he wants breakfast, he purrs and tickles my face with his. Which is adorable. But not at zero dark thirty.

These two have been running in to the kitchen every time I make a move.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I’m sorry, I needed that laugh after yesterday, and that is just hysterical to me! I can totally hear him saying “Wrong!” in my head.

And they’ve either glossed over or outright forgotten “Love thy neighbour as thyself.”

In 30 years, all we’ll have is oral histories (assuming there are survivors), because books will become a thing of the past due to our leaders.

I’m also a Star Wars fan, and I found her way of speaking, the way she carries herself, and her outspokenness refreshing. (Plus it’s fun when she spills tea about her days in the Biz.)

This gif has been me, all. year. long. I know people are tired of hearing it, but 2016 has been a shit year.

I really, really, REALLY want her to be okay.

So sorry to hear that. How awful, for all her friends and family.
