Well there is an lesbian forum out there, with the largest The 100 fandom community online, and they are in agreement. They are devastated by Lexa's death. Don't diminish that.

This has come up in twitter asks. If I recall, the writers said it's impossible to cut off their heads. Original physiology is stronger than diamonds, platinum etc.

The male viewers? There's a whole army of lesbian/bisexual women out there enjoying these characters and storylines. The male gaze isn't everything on this show, thank goodness.

I don't think so. Julie Plec seems to feel a great sense of pride and responsibility (as she should!) towards all the people employed by TVD & TO. She created a whole industry/family in Atlanta. Why walk away when it's still commercially viable?

But it's not like the writing services any of the ships either. Every single fandom seems to hate the show now. It's anti-fan service, or something.

It's not really a spoiler. But the Bellamy x Clarke shippers are convinced that Jason is biased against them, even though the romantic Bellarke dynamic is nonexistent on screen. The usual fandom wank, basically.

Choice is a complicated thing when you're talking about the actions of someone with a mental illness. Francine's ability to reason were obviously seriously compromised. I'd argue that they both had good intentions, but were both horribly wrong for different reasons.

Joe flat out lied to Iris and told her mother was dead. That's not ok! Francine West has a drug addiction, that means she is mentally ill. Joe should have been honest with Iris and given her a chance to work out some of those issues in therapy. Then maybe Iris could have searched for her mother as an adult.

I've seen a few lost Snowbarry shippers here. Poor souls.

Joe shares the blame. He lied to Iris about her mother for years. He's not exactly winning in the honesty department.

Really? That's when I fell in love with Wally. He's not wrong!

No prize? What information do you have to make that judgement about their relationship? At least she raised him, that's more than Joe has ever done.

It's just the makeup. There was some full contouring going on there for some reason.

She is being irrational and delusional. But I've known girls and women who become pregnant for similar reasons.

If you're fertile, pregnancy is never truly surprising. Or out of character. I've seen this happen too many times to ever say a woman seems too 'stable' for an accidental pregnancy. We can never know enough about someone to say something like that.

Showtime will never allow it.

I'm drawing a blank on her storyline with Hank. Were there consent issues there also?

I'm not sure where this show is going with Adalind/Nick. Are we supposed to forget that she raped him?

Jason is the most dramatic, entitled person on that set.

Why was this episode titled 'Hot Ghetto Mess'? It's either a gigantic troll move or another example of tone deaf Hollywood racism. Both are dreadful options.
