Definitely deliberate. It's probably classic Lindelof if you remember how many times LOST opened new seasons with unfamiliar characters in strange places.

There are still lots of racist idiots bitching about Iris.

Nope. They play lacrosse.

Chris Wood is shooting a new show for Julie Plec/The CW right now. I think they put him on ice so he can guest star or come back if the new show doesn't work out.

It's a horrible situation all round. This is why we need to teach children about consent. Switched at birth is doing the same storyline right now, except the female character was blackout drunk. The writers are clearly trying to explore the importance of enthusiastic consent. But the victim blaming from viewers has

The shift on FNL also felt like network interference. They added some overly dramatic soap opera storylines hoping to boost ratings. It got better though. Season 4 was actually the strongest IMO.

This episode was the most frustrating episode of the series for me. It had Fox Network notes written all over it. Season 1 was fresh, exciting, and fun because of the fast paced serialized storylines. Moving away from that is a mistake IMO. I actually like monsters of the week type shows. The X-Files did those

I'd love Lexa to be a regular but the actress was cast in The Walking Dead spinoff. It might still work out though because The 100 films 16 episodes a year, not 22.

Agreed, what a waste and he'll probably die soon anyway. The Originals is doing a better job of it at least with Josh.

I think it's been around 2 months since The 100 landed. The drug is supposedly similar to meth/bath salts. It speeds up their metabolism and causes drug psychosis. The reapers have ferocious appetites because of the metabolism spike. So they eat whatever they can find, like the abundance of dead grounders in the

The writers on twitter said there will be a gay character this season. Watch social media blow up when the character/storyline is introduced. You definitely aren't the only viewer asking about it.

I think he's just working hard on his accent. He had an easier time playing a Dr evil type character on The Vampire Diaries. His love and affection for Iris seems genuine to me.

He's from Zimbabwe and Australia. I still think he's doing a good job with the accent though.

Price Peterson on TV.com Don't expect deep analysis, but it's the recap TVD needs and deserves. He's hilarious!

I still hoping for Druid!Stiles. I'll even accept Druid summer school, even though I'd prefer to see Deaton do the teaching. Druids are still human after all!

Well, to be fair Lydia does see things that aren't there. Or perceives the world differently because of her abilities. There were lots of scenes like that in season 2 after Peter bit her.

It was wolfsbane. Maybe he's saving it for Kate?

The Strain and Bates Motel are excellent shows in their own special ways ;p The difference is you don't see people going into those review threads after a few consecutive A grades to tell the reviewer to stop smoking the Cuse crack pipe of stupidity.

Wasn't he one of many writers working on the movie? I never really followed The Alien franchise, so I didn't have any expectations. But I'm pretty sure some people think Lindelof created, wrote, directed the entire movie based on all the online comments. Why doesn't Ridley Scott get the same or even more criticism?

Lindelof and Cuse were both extremely engaged with viewers while LOST aired. They did a podcast pretty much every week about the latest episode and it wasn't some fluff piece like The Talking Dead or Wolf Watch. They were both equally enthusiastic about the mysteries of The Island, from their writing and fan theories.
